Fatty Liver Disease

When too much fat builds up in liver cells, the fatty liver grows. While it is common for these cells to have a small amount of fat, the liver is considered fatty if more than 5 percent of it is fat .
Although consuming too much alcohol can result in a fatty liver, it does not play a role in many instances.
